Friends of The Rif was born out of a desire to help Moroccans after an earthquake in Al Hoceima in 2004. On Friday September 8th 2023 another major earthquake shook Morocco - this time in the High Atlas mountains. We are now pivoting to help with relief efforts in that region. Please consider donating through the link below to help these efforts.

Daniel and Elena Easley, and their five children, are relocating to Taroudant in South West Morocco to help in the building efforts to house some of the thousands of families left homeless before the cold winter sets into the Moroccan highlands.
